Elephant Dip


What an incredible turn out for our first ever event down West Wales- The Elephant Dip held at Coppet Hall on November 21st.
It was fantastic to see everyone dressed up in their elephant gear and bracing the freezing waters to help such an amazing cause!

Thankyou to each and every one of you for getting involved and for the generous donations.

We raised a tremendous £1920!!

We are immensely proud of all of our amazing team, our volunteers and our dippers.
We want to say a special thanks to…

  • The Hean Castle Estate for allowing us to use Coppet Hall Beach to host the event. A special mention for Kim and Shaun, who were both superb on the day
  • Allan at Coppet Hall Paddleboarders

  • The Kiosk Coppet Hall for providing hot beverages and biscuits after the swim.
  • The Royal Oak Saundersfoot for the delicious hot pork & beef rolls after the event.
  • Princess Gate Water for the kind donation of bottled water for our dippers.
  • Pure West Radio for the live coverage of the event and a huge thank you to Toby Ellis for braving the dip to support the event.
  • The Bluetits for penning in the water and extending their experienced wings to help us with cold water safety need to knows
  • The Flamingos of Swanea for leading our swim starting line and the warm up – clad in their best pink tail feathers
  • David Chin Adams of Medical Emergency RTS – for taking the time to support with an extensive risk assessment in the lead up of the event and for the event itself
  • We’d Rather Lather Sarah and Kev for making nos da elephant bath bombs for the goody bags
  • Haverfordwest Morrisons Community Champion Sian for the chocolates donated for our swim for joining in the fun
  • Rob Evans for joining in the fun
