Named after our Founder’s son George, our elephant friend plays a huge part in the work we do here at 2wish.
An elephant was chosen to join us here at 2wish for two reasons. Firstly, as we all know, elephants never forget, just like our bereaved families. Secondly, the subject of child death remains the elephant in the room. People will often avoid bereaved parents and never know what to say. We want to change this and encourage people to speak about the child that has passed away. Parents want to talk and do not want their child to be forgotten.
Look out for Gorgeous George on your travels and don’t forget to ask him for a selfie or two.
