Little Inspirations have been a trusted provider of quality childcare for over 20 years, with nurseries in RCT, Newport, Vale of Glamorgan, and Merthyr. Since opening their first day nursery in 2003, they have grown in strength and numbers, with their 9th childcare facility opening by the end of 2023.
Little Inspirations and 2wish have formed a close and evolving relationship, having seen each other grow over the years during Little Inspirations’ longstanding support. “Our reason for being a partner with 2wish has changed over the years. Initially, it was our strong connection with Rhian, the children, and her family. As the years have gone by, both our company and the charity have grown together.“ Founder, Janine Gill explains.
Janine goes on to explain the importance of supporting organisations that share the same values and vision… “2wish offers families hope and support in their darkest hours, often being a lifeline to the families that need them. Our company is about the future and supporting families to make positive changes for themselves, their children and individuals. We are a perfect fit.”
Little Inspirations has kindly sponsored this year’s Elephant Walks, a popular fixture in the 2wish calendar that allows us to remember loved ones in a positive and uplifting environment. When asked about the reason for supporting this event Janine explained… “People often think of 2wish with sadness and grief. However, my experience has been that events are full of love, support, hope and looking forward to the future whilst holding to precious memories of a loved one.”
Janine continues to discuss the multiple benefits events such as the Elephant Walks can have on professionals and families alike… “This event will promote people to talk about loved ones and encourage people to face the elephant in the room. Staff will gain confidence to support families who have been bereaved. While the children will be able to have fun”
Little Inspirations has supported the Elephant Walks this year by sponsoring the medals given to all children upon completion of the 3 kilometre walk and have kindly provided goody bags for the children at the Walk & Picnic in Porthkerry Country Park, Barry. These contributions play a big part in making events like these special for the attendees and families involved.
